Principal Occupational Hygienist to establish and lead the Occupational Hygiene offering for a highly successful Environmental and Hazmat Consultancy.

This isn’t a standing-start business development role where you’re expected to build everything from scratch. The foundations already exist.

There is ongoing mould and moisture assessment work, established client relationships across healthcare, education and institutional sectors, and a leadership team that has identified Occupational Hygiene as a major growth area for the business over the coming years.

The opportunity is to take what already exists and turn it into something much bigger.

With a strong national Environmental, Contaminated Land and Hazmat business underpinning the operation, you’ll have access to existing clients, active projects and a project pipeline extending well into the future. The business sees significant opportunity in Occupational Hygiene and is prepared to invest accordingly.

The Role:

You’ll take ownership of the Occupational Hygiene service offering nationally, working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, support clients and deliver technical excellence.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading Occupational Hygiene services across Victoria and nationally
• Delivering occupational exposure assessments and workplace monitoring programs
• Managing mould and moisture assessment projects
• Supporting major institutional clients including healthcare, education and government sectors
• Providing technical advice and guidance to clients and internal teams
• Identifying opportunities within existing client relationships
• Developing proposals, scopes and project methodologies
• Mentoring future hires as the service line grows
• Helping shape the long-term direction of the Occupational Hygiene division

Experience:

• Extensive Occupational Hygiene consulting experience
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability
• Experience delivering workplace exposure assessments and monitoring programs
• Ability to operate at Principal level technically and commercially
• Interest in building and growing a service line
• Consulting background highly regarded
