Director / Associate Director – Specialised Assets Valuations

Going Concerns, PROPERTY VALUATIONS

Sydney, NSW

200 — 300

$200,000 + Super + Commissions + Employee Ownership

Sydney CBD | Specialised Assets / Going Concern Valuations

Director / Associate Director in Specialised Assets Valuations to join one of Australia’s most recognised Property, Valuation and Advisory firms as they continue expanding their NSW capability.

This isn’t a standing-start role where you’re expected to build a market from scratch.

The platform is already there.

Strong client relationships with banks, developers, funds and trusts. Established expertise across pubs, hotels, accommodation assets and childcare. A dedicated NSW leadership team. A newly renovated CBD headquarters. A reputation that continues to win repeat business.

The opportunity is to leverage that momentum and build on it.

With a strong regional NSW presence already established, the next phase of growth centres around Sydney Metro and the increasing demand for childcare, accommodation and alternative asset valuations.

You’ll join the NSW leadership group and work closely alongside the state’s Head of Going Concern Assets, becoming an influential voice in both local and national strategy discussions.

The Role:

Lead and grow a specialised assets valuation portfolio across NSW, with particular focus on Sydney Metro.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Valuation of childcare centres, pubs, hotels, accommodation assets, student accommodation, boarding houses and service stations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with lenders, developers, funds and private clients
  • Contributing to NSW and national growth strategies
  • Mentoring and supporting valuation professionals within the broader business
  • Leveraging your existing network and client relationships to drive further growth
  • Identifying new market opportunities across complementary specialised asset classes
  • Working alongside recognised industry leaders in the Going Concern and Alternative Assets sector

The Team:

This is a business that has invested heavily in making valuers more productive.

Dedicated compliance and QA teams protect valuers and improve efficiency. Templates are centrally managed. Valuation models are integrated and automated. Systems are designed to remove administrative headaches so you can focus on clients, advice and revenue generation.

The Sydney headquarters reflects that investment mindset. Newly renovated and designed for collaboration, it supports a multi-level operation covering every major valuation discipline.

The leadership team combines decades of experience across specialised assets, commercial property and development valuations, creating an environment where knowledge sharing and strategic thinking are highly valued.

Importantly, this offers a better work-life balance than many institutional competitors whilst still providing access to major clients and high-value assignments.

Experience:

  • Certified Practising Valuer (CPV)
  • Experience across Going Concern, Specialised Assets or Alternative Assets valuations
  • Strong market presence and industry network within NSW
  • Experience across childcare, accommodation, hospitality or related specialised assets highly regarded
  • Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
  • Associate Director through to Senior Director level experience considered

Salary:

  • $200,000 + Super
  • Attractive commission structure
  • Employee ownership model providing dividend opportunities separate to fee generation
  • Long-term leadership and succession opportunities
