As a Director in the Sydney Going Concerns team, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio that needs stronger leadership, deeper commercial capability, and someone who can genuinely pull work through. This is a growth-driven hire – the current team has capability but lacks the senior presence to win, retain and expand the right client mix.
You’ll have a clear shareholding path, supported by a bonus structure already proven successful interstate. If you’ve hit a ceiling where you are, this offers a genuine step into a more influential, higher-upside role.
The Role
You’ll lead the Going Concerns valuation offering in NSW, working across hospitality, childcare, medical, agribusiness, retail and specialist assets. This is a client-facing, relationship-led role requiring someone confident stepping into the market and being recognised for their capability.
You will:
- Take point on the NSW Going Concerns portfolio
- Deliver valuations for mortgage, acquisition, litigation, tax and advisory work
- Build and nurture direct client relationships and referral networks
- Strengthen panel relevance and reputation for Going Concerns
- Mentor and develop the team underneath you as the practice grows
- Align with a shareholding and bonus structure built for high performers

What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years’ experience in Going Concerns or specialist Commercial Valuations
- AAPI / CPV
- Ability to attract or influence market work (not just deliver)
- Strong commercial mindset with appetite for equity
- Leadership capability – both client-facing and internal
