A global consultancy is rebuilding its Brisbane CLM capability and needs a hands-on Team Leader to run delivery, resourcing and people – with strong national support and a full pipeline of work already in play.

The Role

As Team Leader – Contaminated Land, you are responsible for:

• Day-to-day delivery and resourcing
• Mentoring and developing consultants
• Managing utilisation and workflow
• Maintaining quality, pace and team culture

You’ll work closely with the local Principal and report into the East Coast CLM Practice Lead. This is not a “stuck in the middle” role – you have authority, backing and a clear mandate to build.

The Work

• Defence monitoring and investigation programs
• Council landfill and auditing-related CLM work
• National panel projects flowing from NSW and VIC
• Cross-disciplinary projects via Geotechnical and other service lines

The Platform

• Brisbane CLM team grows from 3 ? 5 immediately
• Clear mandate to grow to 6–8 as the first milestone
• Supported by large, mature CLM teams in NSW and VIC
• Brisbane sits within a wider office of 25+ consultants
• No expectation to “win” work, focus is delivery and people

What You’ll Bring

• 5–8+ years in contaminated land consulting (QLD)
• Strong technical base with confidence running projects
• Approachable, practical leadership style
• Experience mentoring juniors and managing workflow
• Australian citizenship (required for Defence work)
