A key part of the appeal is the role’s profile within the team: you’ll be the 2IC, working closely with a Senior Partner on the strategy of the practice, with oversight of team workflows, and playing a visible leadership role supporting the development of junior lawyers and paralegals. The role sits within one of Sydney’s most highly respected insurance practices, with the work spanning financial lines and professional risk matters (both coverage and defence), with broader crossover into insured construction disputes, D&O and management liability, cyber/privacy, defamation and fidelity-type claims, depending on your interests and the mix of matters.

You’ll bring a strong insurance litigation foundation with at least 8+ years’ PQE and proven experience handling PI claims end-to-end. This will suit someone who can take ownership of files, manage expectations confidently, and deliver clear, practical advice on technically demanding coverage questions as well as hard-fought litigation.
