As a Senior or Associate Environmental Consultant in Contaminated Sites, step into a Sydney team where the variety, scale and technical depth of work is already there – they just need more strong operators to meet demand.

This is ideal for someone who wants to grow in a technically strong environment without top-heavy politics, with access to national expertise and a clear runway to develop further.

The Role

You’ll independently run your own projects across assessments, remediation, risk and groundwater, supported by grads and mids, plus senior technical specialists nationally.
Associates step further into project strategy and oversight; Seniors focus on delivery excellence, client interaction and developing juniors.

What you’ll actually do

• Manage PSI / DSI programs, fieldwork oversight, contractor supervision
• Deliver high-quality technical reporting across contamination, groundwater and remediation
• Contribute to strategy, scoping and client updates
• Mentor juniors and guide mid-level staff on project execution
• Tap into national hydro, risk and remediation specialists for complex sites
• Support a growing Sydney team with project delivery, QA and knowledge sharing
• Exposure to large multi-year sites, complex subsurface issues and a mix of government, energy and urban development projects

Who you’ll work with

A strong Sydney group with solid project flow and national resources behind it — hydrogeologists, risk assessors, remediation specialists, and a broad network of technical leads.

What you’ll bring

• 5–12 years in contaminated land consulting
• Strong reporting and project management capability
• Confidence coordinating field programs and complex assessments
• Interest in mentoring juniors and growing technically
• Degree in Science/Engineering or relevant field
