
Associate / Senior Associate – Employment Disputes

Unlike many Workplace Relations & Employment Law teams that work across front-end contracting and advisory, M&A DD and disputes work, this team focuses purely on high-end complex litigation and DR matters.
Here you will have access to a broader range of contentious matters than you see in a typical Employment Law practice. Rather than having a bulk of work in just Unfair Dismissals and Adverse Actions, you’ll have a significant portfolio of matters covering Restraints of Trade, Bullying, Transfers of Business, Redundancy, WH&S, Harassment and Discrimination (broadly, not just in the employment context), even Disciplinary matters and ABF/customs issues.
You’ll be part of a national Employment practice with access to matters across Australia, while also having the benefit of a close-knit team in Melbourne and mentoring and support from an enthusiastic and approachable Partner who was recently recognised in the ‘Partner of The Year’ and ‘Women in Law’ awards.
We are open to this appointment being at the Associate or Senior Associate level; the focus is to have someone with experience as the direct point of contact with clients and having primary carriage of their own matters, and who is keen to take on high-end and complex disputes.
