The team is known for its ability to handle large-scale disputes and is frequently instructed on complex multi-party matters involving claims exceeding $100m across the construction, infrastructure and resources sectors.

More broadly, the work coming through this practice spans professional indemnity disputes involving accountants, financial planners and other professionals, alongside a substantial liability practice covering public and product liability matters involving property damage and personal injury.

Aside from the defence side of the practice, you’ll also be advising on coverage, policy interpretation and risk management issues, giving the role a well-rounded mix of litigation and advisory work.

You’ll work closely with an experienced partner and be part of a team structure that allows for genuine involvement in strategy, file management and client contact. This role fills an important gap between the junior lawyers and senior leadership, making it a strong move for someone who wants to step into broader responsibility at the very high-end of the Associate level or Senior Associate level.

This role would suit a lawyer with experience in insurance litigation, professional indemnity, financial lines or construction matters, who is looking to build a broader practice.
