Led by a highly experience Partner, whose training was in a top tier firm before they started their own practice, they’ve built a reputation for delivering strategic, thoughtful legal solutions in highly sensitive matters. They act in complex disputes across wills, estates, and family provision, and their clients trust them to handle their most personal conflicts with clarity, care, and conviction.
They are looking for an Associate (2–5 years PQE) to join their tight-knit Wills & Estates team.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with a solid foundation in estate planning who is ready to deepen their expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working closely with the Partner you’ll:
- Advise clients on estate structures, tax considerations, and risk management
- Support executors and beneficiaries through estate administration
- Navigate complex assets like trusts, superannuation, and private companies
- Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants on holistic estate strategies
- Build trusted client relationships with autonomy and support
- Draft tailored wills, powers of attorney, and testamentary trusts
Who You Are
- Has 2–5 years’ post-admission experience in wills & estates law
- Brings strong drafting and analytical skills, with an eye for detail
- Is calm and compassionate in emotionally charged situations
- Works well autonomously but values being part of a collaborative team
