This is a full-service national firm with over 100 staff across the East Coast. The difference here is that the Litigation & Insolvency practice is the engine room for the firm, with 10 Partners and a large team of Lawyers nationally.

There are 2 Partners and half a dozen Lawyers in the Commercial Litigation and Insolvency practice in Sydney. They primarily act for financiers, SME businesses, property developers, major liquidators and trustees, and insurers. The Partners have particular expertise in Insolvency disputes, and there is flexibility on whether or not to include insolvency work in this role – you can take it or leave it, it’s up to you.

We are looking for a Senior Associate who can bridge that gap between the Partners and the juniors, providing mentoring support and taking a lead role in the running of matters. The Partners aren’t the types to hold onto clients, and instead, are enthusiastic about handing over those relationships. You will be encouraged to be front-and-center in managing existing clients, as well as joining the Partners in developing new relationships and referral streams.
