As a Principal Environmental Consultant in Contaminated Sites, join a mid-sized consultancy that’s carved out a serious position in the market – led by ex-top-tier specialists who’ve built a reputation for high-end project delivery and a grounded, flexible culture.

You’ll step into a NSW team of 30+, predominantly in the contaminated land space, where the standard of work and technical depth rivals the bigger players, minus the bureaucracy.

The Work

Projects cover everything from straightforward waste classifications through to large-scale remediation and redevelopment of complex sites including landfills, PFAS-impacted sites and major land release projects.

You’ll work closely with EPA Auditors and draw on internal specialists across hydrogeology, toxicology, geotech and hazmat. The technical calibre of the group is exceptional, and the work they’re delivering reflects that.

Your role sits alongside the NSW Manager—helping shape the direction of the business while staying connected to delivery and clients.

The Role

• Lead and mentor environmental consultants delivering PSI/DSI, RAPs, remediation and validation works
• Oversee technically complex contaminated land and groundwater projects
• Provide strategic input and project direction in partnership with the NSW Manager
• Engage with auditors, regulators and clients to deliver sound, defensible outcomes
• Support business development and project pipeline management

Experience:

• Must hold CEnvP
• 10+ years’ experience in contaminated sites consulting
• Strong technical background and ability to mentor
• Sydney-based (required for site and client engagement)
