This Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Sydney is led by four partners – each practicing in the areas of commercial litigation and dispute resolution, whilst having their own area of specialty.

You will work in a small yet effective team of talented senior associates, lawyers and grads, and have the opportunity to work across a number of partners to ensure you develop a well-rounded skill set.

About the Work

The team’s focus is on complex high-end matters rather than commoditised work, which has led to a reputation for prestige rather than volume. There will be value add, ‘bet the farm’ type disputes, and you will be involved in:

• Corporate regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
• Corporate recoveries
• White collar defence work
• Insolvency litigation, reconstruction and commercial contractual disputes
• Banking and insurance litigation
• Litigation with respect to managed investment schemes, financial services and products, including the defence of class actions

About You

You have a bright and inquisitive legal mind, with a genuine passion for commercial litigation. You enjoy having direct client contact, and have worked or are currently working in a highly-reputed firm, in-house environment or at the Supreme or High Court.

You are ambitious, have excellent academics and love to be challenged – whether that is from taking on additional responsibilities or performing to your own high standards. You enjoy success and are ready to move ahead of the pack by joining a team that consistently outperforms its competitors.
