The Partner is enthusiastic about handing over client relationships and encourages his staff to take on a greater level of responsibility on matters. As such, this role will appeal most to a self-starting practitioner who wants guidance with developing the strategy to progress files – but autonomy in the day-to-day carriage of them.

This is a full-service national firm with over 500 staff and a multi-Partner Commercial Litigation practice in Melbourne. The Partner has a diverse practice with a mix of general commercial litigation, insolvency (corporate and personal), property disputes and white-collar crime matters. They are enjoying a great level of success and in the past 18 months have added 5 new Associates and Senior Associates to the team (all growth roles; they haven’t lost any staff).

The size of the team means we can allocate files to make this a commercial litigation + insolvency, or a non-insolvency commercial litigation role. The priority is finding someone with the right personality and attitude for a client-facing role.
