You’ll join a practice that acts for both Australian and London market clients, with a steady flow of technically challenging claims across a wide range of industries. Think complex construction claims, demolition and protection works disputes, s157 and s16 Water Act claims, recoveries, and policy coverage advice. No high-volume motor vehicle work here, just carefully managed matters that require strategic thinking and technical depth.

You’ll work with a particularly good Partner who is a genuinely lovely person, an excellent mentor, and a strong people manager – as well as having a number of high-performing Senior Associates and Special Counsels to bounce off. It’s a team that’s collaborative, supportive, and deeply invested in developing senior talent.

We are open to this appointment being at the Associate or Senior Associate level; the focus is to have someone with experience as the direct point of contact with clients and having primary carriage of their own matters, and who is keen to take on high-end and complex disputes.
