About the job
- Prestigious international firm. Supportive and collaborative culture
- Run you own disputes. Advise on & draft various contracts and agreements
- Be involved in large, complex IR and EB matters
As a close-knit practice within a major top-tier international firm, the focus here is on complex and high-end strategic matters rather than commoditised / volume work. This has led to a reputation for prestige rather than scale.
You will be front-and-centre running your own matters and dealing directly with clients to advise on and draft various types of employment contracts, negotiate executive agreements, and run your own unfair dismissal, discrimination and other employment disputes. This broad exposure and client-facing focus is a conscious decision to develop a well-rounded set of skills and encourage the growth of your professional profile in the Employment and Workplace Law area.
The client-base here includes some of the most significant public companies and financial institutes in Australia, as well as local and international clients in the tech, professional services, energy and property sectors. The team has been involved in significant industrial relations and enterprise bargaining matters, and is often sought out to advise on large-scale restructures and M&As.
With over 10 years’ experience in Recruitment and a thorough knowledge of the Law Sector, I can guarantee that your application is in good hands. The market is small and confidentiality is key.
